JOB OVERVIEW – The Rehabilitation & Programs Division emphasizes the importance of evidence-based services by providing a comprehensive integrated program to meet the needs of incarcerated individuals who require substance abuse, violence prevention, family violence, sex crime, and general crime interventions.
- This position provides operational oversight to the Montana State Prison Programming Department. The department consists of professionals and support staff who coordinate and deliver inmate programming and Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT) to the MSP inmate population. Oversight includes, but is not limited to department direction, coordination, fiscal oversight, supervision, and leadership.
- Collaborates with Department, facility, contract, and clinical services staff regarding, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based program services in accordance with standards and regulations for providing care to incarcerated offenders and as directed by the Rehabilitation & Programs Division.
- The position also demonstrates an active role in Rehabilitation & Programs Division’s Continuous Quality Improvement meetings.
- Direct and manage operational activities for the program, including hiring staff, allocating resources, oversee program performance, and manage projects.
